in pbo the other day, we stopped at a yard sale to pick up a lil car similar to this. we were out there fueling up on bio-deisel and planning our ten year wedding anniversary party.
look closely and you will notice two things. the position of the glasses and the name of the bike.

her first stroller ride ever. per big sister's request.
play with trey. "get in here and i will ram you." were his words. after enjoying bumping into the side of the street himself, he thoughtfully invited her to get in the car so he could push it into the side of the street. all the while, their moms discussed raising boys.
she agreed!

already getting so big and strong, holding onto my fingers and thumbs.
our sun golds are blooming! most days they don't make it inside before we eat them.
baby in the basket in the garden. i am not a big fan of baby gear as most of it is not only unnecessary but can interfere with bonding, breastfeeding and skin to skin contact. i had mixed feelings about buy this at the thrift store. it is padded and has a mesh screen to keep the ants off of the babe while we are in the garden. to me, it's a safe comfy spot for her to be close while i weed the garden or dump compost on it. i can easily water the plants while holding her.
