holiday faire and a parade plus some socks

the waldorf holiday faire hosted a great celebration today. i want to go to school their myself! here they are getting ready to dip the wick.
the wick was dipped in bee's wax from a local beehive then dipped in water. over. and. over.
showing us her candle!
the bear at waldorf's holiday fare. hubby was on call for work so we had to leave way too early!!!
the back of ellie kinnard! ever since my friend worked for her in college, i have been a fan!
this is us.
she wanted to sit on the ground. kept her hands in her pockets until the candy was thrown.
cool vans. shaking pom. granny made hat.
staying warm. being gorgeous.
this parade had a strong showing of male dancers. yay! the kid on the ground is doing the snake! a lot of them followed his lead. awesome!
dancing on a moving flat bed? wow!
the dancers are my favorite part.
this is how she feel asleep. sucking a black russian bagel that e had picked out earlier. precious.
the license plate says, "don't laugh, it's paid for."
this vehicle and the persons coming out of the roof were very loud. we saw it the last time we were in h-b for a parade...it wasn't in the actual parade last time, just driving around honking and listening to "jump around".
wtf?
i kept getting distracted by talking to friends so i would miss the photo op until it had already passed. ooops.
at first, i was really confused about the ages of this high school marching band. and, how talented they are.

a horse drawn carriage.
the couple who still lives at the north pole. ez still doesn't know who this is, thankfully.
the socks her granny jenny made! we all got matching pairs as an early present to wear in our holiday pictures.
