My big bro cleaned it up for us as he is quite the handyman. It really came out beautiful. The roof lid flips up; the stairs are actually from a castle we got on craigslist earlier in the year.

Because it's so open, the girls have used it as a house for small people, a house for the larger dolls and a big barn for the bigger animals to have their own stalls. It's also been a barn for the smaller animals to share.

These creative ways make me want to wait on introducing furniture. We've got a box of it in the shed from when i was a kid; some is very fragile Victorian style furniture but other pieces may work at some point over the next year.
